Yes I do still have a livejournal but this is going to be short b/c I only have like 10 min before my next class. Just decided to update for those of you who don't have facebook. I am now in the Radiology Technology program at zane state. I actually officially start this summer. Anywho, beginning fall quarter I will have no life at all and will be lucky if I am able to work for money for the next two years. Yes this program is that hectic and it throws you right into clinicals fall quarter so that's a little scary for me but I know that I can do it. Well that's it for now b/c I have to grab something to eat from my friend mr vending machine and run to class. So that's my life in a short bubble. Hopefully I'll update again soon.

My week of vacation officially starts today ( why on a Saturday I'll never know). Anywho a lot has happened, yet not a whole lot has happened (does that make any sense).
First of all, I've been working a lot this summer; thanks to vacations, maternity leave, and an unexpected administrative leave. I get more hours at my branch from people on vacation, New Lex branch has Wendy on maternity leave without knowing when she'll be back, and as for the other, let's just say that I've had to work at south branch lately as well. It seems that I'm never at the same branch two days in a row but hey that's fine with me I need the money.
As for another big thing in my life, I have decided that I'm not patient enough to go clear through college in order to be a pharmacist. I feel like I need to actually be doing something, plus I'm really sick of scholl now. Anywho I have now decided that I'm going to be a radiologist. I'm going to go to Zane State this fall and in 2 years that's what I'll be doing as long as I get into the program which I don't see as being a problem. So that's basically all that I've been doing. Not a whole lot. Oh well. That's it. Maybe I'll update later this week since I'll probably be bored with being on vacation with nothing planned.

Wow, I've been really busy lately. Finals week is this week so really I should be studying but as usual I'm procrastinating. But hey I've got til Tuesday because for once all my finals are on two days in a row except for my Chem final which is take home so that isn't too big of a deal. Anywho I have to make a lot of decision her soon about what I am doing come fall. Such as what school I'm going to (that's really the big one), and also I have to find a way to pay for college since I have to scholarshio this year that pays for everything. Oh yeah and what really sucks is that I've basically taken all of the classes that I could possibly take at OUZ and I already know that athens isn't an option since I don't wanna go there and oh yeah they don't have my major. That's another thing, I have to definately decided as to what I am going to do after college, which I am almost positive about the whole Pharmacy thing but the problem with that is, will I be able to get the money to be in college for another 5 yrs (at least). Anywho, I definately looking forward to the summer, but I have to find a second job b/c I need more hours than what I am getting at the bank so that I can actually save some money since all of my paycheck practically goes to my car payment. So yeah, I'm gonna try to find another job. Speaking of work, once again we were busy today, but then again it is the 3rd of the month. What sucks is that Marge and I had to work the first and the third (our 2 busiest days) but that's ok, yesterday was probably really busy too since it was payday and the 2nd. Well that's about it, I've gotta study for finals.

Hey everybody who actually still reads this. I've decided that it's been like two months since I last updated so I decided what the heck, I've got some free time on my hands (even though I should be studying for my bios test.) so I'd update. Well not a whole hell of a lot has happened to me in the two months since updating. Let's see, I started a new quarter in school whopdeedo. It's still all of the same classes I've had since fall quarter just a different section of them. Except for this quarter my chem lab takes forever but that's ok b/c we have fun it's just some tedious work. Hmm... Marcie picked out her wedding dress which is fantastic and the wedding is officially in November.
Danielle, Amanda, Jennifer and I all went to the Gretchen Wilson concert which was a blast!
My mom, Danielle, and I all started working out, we're going to Curves now and it's really fun, and I feel great after I work out. Anywho that's about it in my boring life. I'll write more when I have something else interesting to write.

Ok, I'm here at home with nothing to do (even though I have 2 tests to study for), so I thought to myself why not update my lj. Anywho, once again nothing much has happened. Isn't that boring... all I do is work and go to school. I don't even have anything exciting about class going on. Oh yeah I do have some news for those people who don't have my sister Marcie on their friends list...She not only recently go engaged but she also moved down to Lexington KY. I still haven't seen her place although I have been to Lexington w/ her. So we're all happy for her (Dave's a nice guy). So I've officially applied to WVU and I getting ready to send out the OSU application...I just have to have $40 to apply. I'm relieved that all of that is over...now all I have to do is FAFSA and wait to see if I get in. That's about all that I have to write. Well I guess I'll eventually write more when I'm not so busy. Update Time

Well I guess it's been awhile since I last updated so here it goes. I might as well start with school. I got my grades back, I still somehow got a 3.5 accumulative gpa, but only got like a 3.0 for the quarter.(The C+ in calclus didn't help). But hey that's ok, I'll just deal with it.
Anywho onto other things. I have been sooo busy lately. First of all I am picking up hours at work for folks. Not only that but today I had to drive clear to New Lex to work @ that branch b/c they have some chick that's out on maternity leave and they need people to take her place for some of the busier days. For some reason I have to go down there on Sat for only like 4 hrs and it almost isn't worth it but I was asked so I am being nice and working there instead of @ my branch. It's really not bad but I'm not too keen on going to New Lex @ like 7:20 or so to get there, and i get paid for mileage. The only bad thing is that I don't actually get the good paychecks until AFTER Christmas..that helps a whole lot.
Oh yeah Monday I went to Lexington KY with Marcie b/c her car died on Friday night around cincy. Anywho we drove my car down for it's first long trip. We had fun once her interview was over. But jeeze it seems like I spent most of my week in a car. Not only did I ride down to KY but I had to work on Tues. and then yesterday Danielle and I drove to Newark to the eye doctor. But that was ok b/c I got to pick out new glasses which should come in a week or so. But I'm happy b/c they're really fun and I only have to pay a $10 copay to get them. ( thank goodness b/c I'm really poor).
Anywho that's about all that I have to say. So i'll write more later and until then, if I don't write before, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and whatever else there is to say.

Procrastination

The title tells it all folks. I really should be studying for the 2 finals I have tomorrow but I decided to update. I guess it's my way of putting off studying Calculus which i really really need to study so I don't fail....anywho i did well for a while b/c i studied for like an hour or so, which was only 2 out of 13 sections, but then i guess I got bored. Did I mention that I hate having comprehensive finals...it really sucks b/c I have to learn all of that crap over again b/c well being me, after about 10 weeks i sort of put it out of my mind. I just realized that I am not really making any sense and this is a very boring entry. I mean none of you care that i am not studying for finals, but b/c I took the time to type this all the people that read my lj will just have to suck it up and read it. Anywho since this is "reading day" the dumbest thing known to a college, I don't have class yeah!! But I had to get up @ 6am regardless b/c I had to got to a stupid mandatory training for work and then I have to go to another one tonight. and OMG they are the most boring things in the world to sit there with a bunch of older people, me being on of the younger people working there (Jenn gheen knows what I mean) and then pretend to care about the crap they are working so hard to teach you. Anywho I can't believe that Thanksgiving is almost here...jeeze the last three months have pratically flown by. That also means that I have to get my act together and start applying to other colleges b/c, well let's just say everyone already knows my views on OUZ. It also means I have to start buying christmas gifts b/c I'm poor and have to split up the gifts on different paychecks and also pay my car payment. plus i still don't know what to get my family...oh well they'll just get something and be happy with it. ok it think that i had better stop this meaningless little entry b/c if people are still reading this then they are obviously as bored as I am....(you are, aren't you). Well anywho that's enough for me maybe I'll have something better to write later.

Wow, I can't believe how fast time flies! It seeems like just last week classes started and now we're in the ninth week and I only have two weeks of school left after this week. I am soo ready for the break that we get b/c I am so sick of going to the 8am class everyday and not getting home until after 7:30 on some nights. On to other thngs, I'm pretty sure I failed my math test today b/c apparently my teacher decided it was time to put all of the hard questions on this test so yeah I maybe got one left. And if I did fail it then I have to get a really good grade on my final in order to pull a B out of that class, not to mention the fact that I have to get my grade up in bio and chemistry. I'm not worried about french b/c the only test we'll have is the final and that's just a conversation w/ him. It really pisses me off though that no matter how hard I study for my math tests I just can't pull anything about a B- on them.

I got a flu shot today which was altogether a bad experience. Ok so i go in there and wait not even five minutes when the lady checks my paper and makes me stand in a doorway for the next available nurse. Well leave it to me to get the worst nurse in the world. First of all she was rude all the way around. then it felt like she stabbed the damn thing into my arm. I mean the shot stung the whole damn time she was doing it. Then she just up and turns around on me without a word. I didn't even get the customary courtesy swipe you get after a shot so I walked out bleeding a little bit. The whole time the lady was there I wanted to tell her listen bitch just because you may have been busy earlier doesn't mean you have to rude to me. I mean come on isn't that part of the job...be nice to the patient. God I just hate it when you go to the doctor or something and the people who work there are rude. Anywho I guess that's it I have to go and schedule now b/c I was supposed to do it at 3.

Just Some Food For Thought

This is from an e-mail that I received concerning hurricane katrina and it's just an account of what happened to a guy who went to New Orleans to help those people who had lost their homes and some of the things that he had to say. It's sort of long but this is only the jest of it:

I arrived at the astrodome only to find out that there were too many
volunteers and that volunteers were needed at the George R. Brown
Convention Center. As I was walking up to the Convention Center I noticed a line of cars that wrapped around blocks filled with donations. These were ordinary Houstonians coming with truckloads and trunks full of water, diapers, clothes, blankets, food, all types of good stuff. And lots of it was NEW. I toured the place to get familiar with my surroundings; the entire place is
probably around 2 million sq. ft. I noticed rows as far as the eye can see
of mattresses, not cots, BLOW UP MATTRESSES!!! All of which had nice
pillows and plenty of blankets. 2 to 3 bottles of water lay on every bed. These full size to queen size beds by the way were comfortable, I laid in one to see for myself. I went to look at the medical area. A makeshift hospital created in 24 hours!!!

They had Jason's deli food, apples, oranges, coke, diet coke, lemonade, orange juice,cookies, all types of chips and sandwiches. All the beverages by the way were put on ice and chilled!!!! In a matter of about 24 hours or less an entire mini-city was erected by volunteers for the poor evacuees. This was not your rundown crap shelter, it was BUM HEAVEN. I started by handing out COLD water bottles to evacuees as they got off the
bus. Many would take them and only 20% or less said thank you. Lots of them would shake their heads and ask for sodas! Evacuees come slowly to receive this mountain of food that is worth serving to a king! I tell them that we have 2 types of great deli sandwiches to choose from - ham and turkey. Many look at the food in disgust and DEMAND burgers, pizza, and even McDonalds!!!! Jason's deli is better than McDonalds!!!! Only 1 out of ten people who took something would say "thank you" They would ask for Beer and liquor. They complained that we didn't have good enough food. They refused food and laughed at us. Even the little kids were demanding.

I just witnessed selfish, arrogant,unappreciative behavior by the very people who need help the most. Now these same people who cursed me, refused my cities generosity, who refuse to help themselves are DEMANDING handouts on their own terms!!!!!!! ~Richard L Johnston MD

OUZ Sucks Ass!!

Ok OUZ has screwed me over again. I now know what Eve was saying when she told me not to stay here all fours years(like I would anyway). Ok here is the explaination for all that was just said. I have my whole schedule for winter quarter planned out, actually had it planned last Spring. Well all of the classes that I had planned are squat now. I have to choose. I can only take two of my classes I need. Example: My Math 263B which is my last math that I have to take is at the exact same time as my Biology 172! Thanks alot Z-ville. Another example: My Chem 152 is T/W/TH from 5:30-7:20 what do ya know my french 112 is M/W 5:30-7:20 once agian thanks for screwing me over z-ville. I also can't take any of my classes at any other branch b/c what do ya know surprise surprise...the ones that do have those classes have them at the same time. SO here's some free advice...unless you're going for early childhood or nursing...only go to OUZ for the scholarship if you get it b/c after the main classes you r totally screwed over. THat's enough ranting I'm tired now.

God I am soooo sick of Ohio University Zanesville; If you don't go there...I suggest you don't because it's stupid...this year it seems like you have to fight with 20 million people for one damn thing and then they still give you the run around. I gues I should explain that statement. I have had to fight me ass off just to get my student loan. I was supposed to have it direct diposited into my account on Tuesday..wasn't there so I couldn't get my books. So I called and it was then supposed to be in there on Wednesday...surprise surprise, it wasn't there so then my mom called and they said that they had to get something straightened out with it and that I would have it in my account on Friday. Well surprise of all surprises...it wasn't there today either and they told my mom that it was because it didn't have the right code or some shit like that on it so now they tell me that it will be in there on Tuesday but I'm not going to hold my breath on it being in there. Anywho now because of that my mom and I and even a little help from Danielle are trying to get my very expensive books (math $146, bio $125, etc etc) just to get the books that I need b/c the teachers I have are giving homework and I need to have them. So I am totally pissed off at my college right now.

So I worked today and that wasn't bad but 8:30-6 seems to take forever to go by...it seems like I am never going to get out of there and then we get all of the people who come rushing in at last min and thats annoying too. Anywho I dropped my French 211 and went to the lower one because my advisor is an idiot too b/c he told me I'd do just fine in that class...well the prof walks in and she immediatly starts speaking completely in French and I could barely understand a word that lady said and then she had us all take turns to read lines of a poem in French and the hell if I know what the poem was about...I mean I could read the French and say it outloud but I didn't know what the heck I was saying! But yeah and then at the end of class she's says more stuff in French...which I'm pretty sure was the homework assignment but can't be completely sure about that since I couldn't understand her. So I figured that since I couldn't understand her I had better take the lower class...so that's what i did. Anywho that's all I wanna write right now b/c I am exhauseted and don't feel like writing anymore.

Pointless Rambling

Well it's been a little while since I've updated so I decided what the heck might as well do that since I've got nothing else to do. Hmm.. the job is going great, at least I'm not flipping burgers. But yeah I really like the people I work with and everything, plus it's not a hard job at all. Can you all believe the gas prices! I paid $3.09 for gas yesterday in my mom's van. At the rates it's going, my whole paycheck will be going to my gas tank!

Ok, I've really been thinking about stuff lately and this may piss some people off, but it's just an observation and really has nothing to do with my political views. Anywho, here it goes. I don't understand why whenever something goes wrong in this country the president is the one to blame. Now when I say this I am not just referring to Bush and all of his current predicaments thought that is a little part of it. I mean come on it goes way back, people always blamed the president for anything that went wrong. For instance, look at Hoover, he was and still is blamed for the Great Depression when in all reality, it wasn't his fault he just happened to be president at that time...if we look at the economy before that, it was in a recession anyway before he even became president so I really don't see why he was to blame. We all need to remember that everyone had 20-20 hindsight and I really don't see what he could have done any different considering that at that time, Americans felt that nothing like that would ever happen to us. Well enough about Hoover, on to now; I admit that Bush isn't perfect as president but then again who is!? I mean come on, in our lifetime (meaning those of us born in the 80s) we haven't exactly seen the best president's in the world and those we've had have had to deal with a lot of complicated shit. I mean come on look at Clinton and even those before him. Nobody has had the perfect presidency it's just that now adays with all that has happened it's not exactly a respected position and we thank a few of the other president's for that especially with the whole Monica Lewinsky thing, I mean come on it was such a joke that who can actually respect the presidency. Anywho that's all that I have to say about that. And I will end this with saying that I am more mad at the people who set the prices of gas than those that can't do anything about it.

Now that I've had my little rant ( I guess you can call it that)... Hmm... I start college again this Tuesday and I still haven't bought anything yet such as books but that's mainly because I'm still waiting for my student loan to come in because no way can I actually afford all of the stuff I need without it. That's it I'm done now. And people can comment if they wish but just remember, I dont' really get into politics so don't expect me to fight back...it think it's stupid to fight about things that can't be changed for a little while at least, and I've had my say and am done with it.

Upate time again. Ok well the job is going great now that I'm actually working with cutomers. Jeeze, I didn't realize just how much stuff is done just for one transaction...all I have to say is that I hope CNB recycles after they shred everything. I can't believe that summer's almost over...I only have a few weeks until I go back to schoo1! Wow, I can hardly believe that I'm going to be a sophomore in college! Anywho, there's nothing else for me to write about b/c I'm a boring person like that. Oh yeah and I got a fun new pic!!

I guess I may as well update again since it's been a while. First thing's first...I finally got a job!! I'm a teller @ the South Maysville Century National Bank. (I work w/ Jennifer's mommy). Anywho I started my training yesterday...officially today. So far it's a lil boring and I didn't realize how much stuff went w/ working @ a bank. But yeah today was just a really slow day paper work, fingerprinting ect. ect.

Not much else has happened with me lately so there's not a whole lot else for my to write...maybe I'll have more to write later. so bye to anyone who actually reads this little bit of nothingness.

Well here I am in Columbus. Reason: Marcie broke her foot (again lol) and I was elected to stay with her to drive and help her do the stuff she can't. So I'm just sitting here at her apartment waiting until i have to go pick her up from work @4. Yeah Sara gets to drive Columbus downtown around the time of rush hour by herself. But hey i'll be all right i got here without a problem from her workplace.

Yeah I got elected to come since i'm the only one that has not job in the family. I had an interview @ Bloomer Candy since they were hiring college kids for the summer but since i haven't heard anything back i'm guessing it's a no. oh well i may try to get a job up here when Marcie gets settled or go and try more @ home.

I guess that's about it for me. maybe i'll have more to write a little later.

I am now officially finished with my first year of college. Took my last final today!! Now it's a renewed job hunt starting Monday. I think I'll hit the hotels in the area...mom says some of them are hiring. Working on a car...have one in mind but have to get the down payment...fun fun.

Ok, my fall schedule is going to be insane especially with my French class that ends @ 9:20pm and class @ 8 am the same morning...anywho that's about it. Gosh it's sad just how boring my life is. Well that's it for me. comment if you wish.

Wow two entries in one week!! Anywho this is gonna be a short one. I just wanted to say that if anyone ever has the chance to see Flogging Molly in concert do it...I went to their concert last night and it was awesome!! And for anyone that wants to know, they're coming back in August for the Dublin Irish festival. Well that's it for now.

I've been thinking a lot lately about what it is I really want to do with my life. My first year of college is almost over and it seems to me like I just wasted it. I finally declared a major...du du dun...Pharmacy. Now what I have to do is figure out where to go to get my degree. Ohio University has it but I don't wanna go to Athens b/c well i just don't. I'm thinking along the lines of either OSU or the University of Kentucky. Both are good schools. I'll have to pay out of state costs for KY but that doesn't really matter, I figure I don't get squat from FAFSA so I may as well just go where ever the hell I want to go and just pay off my student loans when I have a good job. It's weird thous because it seems like i just spent a whole year not doing anything...one good thing is that I'm done with all of the tiers so all I have to do is concentrate on all of my science and math courses that are required. yeah i can kiss any life outside of classes goodbye starting in september b/c i have to take chemisty, biology, a math and another class. It's going to totally suck but since i don't have to pay for the classes i'm going to take as many of them as I can. Right now i am soo sick about having to think about the future especially with 2 weeks left of classes before finals. I think that I am done ranting now since not much has happened I'm done.

I guess it's time for me to update again but this will be a short one. Yesterday was a sad day for us...we had to put my doggie to sleep. She must have gotten hit by a car on Friday night b/c when she came in her right leg was just hanging from her body...she had broken it and the dr said he thought she had internal injuries too. :( He also said that she had a bad heart to go with that. So yeah that's really all I have to write. More later..bye

I'm bored so I figured that I'd update since I haven't really written anything in a while. Let's see...spring quarter is now underway, whoohoo. But that's ok it's going pretty good so far but then again I haven't really started a lot of things yet. After not a whole lot of thought, I have figured out just how bad of a math teacher Mrs. Ault is, the reason, I'm in a pre-calc class now and I'm finally understanding the crap that she couldn't teach...and for those in any of her pre-calc/calc classes, it's a lot easier to do anything with functions w/o the calculator she makes you rely on so much. Well enough of that.
We're currently in search of a car for me b/c we've just given up on the other one. So yeah, soon I'll finally have a car that works again! That means I don't have to rely on Danielle to get to class anymore which it good cause sometimes she gets real annoying but I'm not getting into that bag of worms.
Anywho, that's about it and I basically wrote a whole entry w/o anything actually happening. Well I'll write more when there's actually something to write.

Yeah Finals are finally Over!!

If the title didn't give the clue I took my last final today...fun. Now it's time for my whole week of Spring Break! then i start a whole new round of classes but that's ok.
Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone! I wore my dancing leprechaun socks today so that made me happy.
Not much else for my to write cause well nothings happened. Maybe I'll have more to write later.
